The leopard spots blends perfectly well with my mac …

You must be wondering why so dark - the bulbs in the light fused … so I’m only left with the reading light

James is a medium-sized engine in Tidmouth Shed on the Island of Sodor. His six driving wheels are not as big as Gordon’s and not as small as Thomas’. He has a fine scarlet coat and brass dome and likes to think of himself as a Really Splendid Engine. This can occasionally lead to high-falutin’ ideas about the sort of work suitable for such a noble creature : invariably they land James into trouble.

One of my successful shots using Aperture Priority on my EOS. Absolutely heart it. The background is blurred and James standing out neatly!

My boy is an ardent fan of “Thomas & Friends“. Day and night, he would circle around the train tracks, either playing alone or with his dad. We got him two versions of “Thomas & Friends” - Lego and plastic tracks. Both are available from Toys R Us and some local hypermarkets.

Unfortunately, GOD KNOWS WHY, haven’t been able to find the Lego ones for a while. Neither Toys R Us nor Prisma nor Citymarket carries any of them. We got him 3 engines from Toys R Us in Tammisto, Vantaa, last Christmas. After, they just disappeared from the shelves. We were thinking of adding more engines to his Lego collection but fat chance. Now, we have to get him those Lego collections from the US. Few months ago, hubby got him the additional plastic tracks and some die-cast engines from the US and some from Finland. He should have enough for now.

In the evening, he plays with the lego ones. In the day, he plays with the plastic tracks and the die-cast engines. He just adores them. Maybe he’s gonna become an engine master in the future … *haha* … I HOPE NOT! He’s got about 10 dvds and vcds of “Thomas and Friends” cartoon. He can recite the introduction at the beginning of each show. It really shows what an addict he is. Anyway … here’s some pix of his sets … old pix actually. Now he’s got more addition to the “Thomas and Friends” family!

Plastic tracks from Toys R Us US (click to check out the collections they have … AWESOME!) and die-cast engines from Toys R Us Finland

He’s got 2 sets of motorized “Thomas and Friends” by Tomy. The engines run on battery and it’s a very intelligent creation. Hang on let me see if I can find any of the video clips on Youtube to show … nope … but I found one pix of it …

Something similar but for sure we have Cranky *haha*

Do start your child with the motorized ones. They are a great entertainment for both the adults and children.
