Cranky Domestic Goddess

We were supposed to visit my hubby’s hometown this weekend but due to unforseen circumstances, we had to cancel it. Yesterday, we stayed in the whole day because it was raining quite a lot and was darn windy.

So, the daddy said, “Let’s go Linnanmäki” … and the whole family went to Linnanmäki in the late afternoon! We’re always going out very late and thus coming home very late. Either that or we’re always in a hurry whenever we go out.

Hubby and boy went on children’s rides. Many times, hubby asked if I wanted to go with our boy but I said no because I know the boy enjoys more with the father than me. U know, men … boys … strange … they bond well!

Before the boys began their “amusement”, we had lunch at Lintsi Burger. We had burgers and curly fries. Boy was so happy cuz it’s softdrinks and french fries time! He was asking for milkshake but that was no McD. Of course, he whined a little and made us promise him that we’ll take him to McD after we’re done with the amusement park. How clever!

There were the carousel rides, cowboy-wagon-round, kiddy train ride, tour-around-amusement-park train ride, hot air balloon, horse ride, truck ride … gosh what else ar? Sorry ar, I didn’t take the names of those rides. So I simply make up descriptive names for them. While the boys enjoyed themselves, my other boy and I waited miserably for them under the shades. There were a few occasions that I had to leave my boy to quickly take some snapshots of the bigger boys. When I walked back to the strollers, I noticed many “nosy” mothers checking them and had that curious look on their face like “Whose strollers are those? How come there’s a baby here crying but where is the mommy?” I walked back very slowly passing by their back and as I went in front of them, I gladly showed them my middle finger from the bottom … Well, you just don’t know how annoying those si ang mo char bo are … I TELL YOU THEY DESPISE US THE ASIAN WOMEN! THEY THINK WE ARE ANG MO MEN SNATCHERS … fug them!

Anyway … we had a fun day. Hubby promised to take us to Helsinki Sea Life one of these days. Wonder when?! I almost suggested to him that we should go Tallinn instead. But that is more costlier than the previous. So I kept my mouth shut.

I’m too tired to post up the pix … will do it later today. Got dentist appointment this morning. Nite!
