Yesterday, my mil (mom-in-law) sent us some homemade food which includes meat pie, berry swiss rolls, berry pies and macaroni casseroles. Now, I’m at the back terrace sitting next to my baby, enjoying a piece of her meat pie. Yummmmmm … though my wound still hurts due to the infection =’(

Hubby has gone back to work for the day - emergency call! Well, yeah, it’s half day but he’ll get compensated with a full day =D Life is great … at least in this case … hehe

Aiyoyo … baby crying … gotta go check on him. Laterz!

This morning we went to bed at 2.30am. Guess what? GUESS? We were jolted up to the sound of doorbell at friggin 5.30am. I was in the middle of a wonderful dream. Besides, it was one of those mornings that I was able to sleep uninterrupted. You bet, both our hearts were throbbing intensely … wondering who in the world would play such a prank on us. We went to the windows at all corners of our house to check who the culprit is. But it was calm. Surprisingly calm … the bushes, plants and trees were still and not a single soul was seen on our front terrace. Still curious and a little annoyed, we went back to bed. Then I asked my hubby, could it be the phone. Then he recalled that his sms alert is the sound of the doorbell. WTtoottoot!

We finally woke up at 9.30am cuz we had appointments in Vantaa. We had another surprise when we saw 2 adult peasants and 7 or 8 baby peasants walking in our front yard! WOW! We have lived here for 2 years and this is the first time we saw them on our yard. Most of the time, we get some stupid magpies that would eat up our berries. They were very cute. Managed to take a pix. Haven’t checked how it turned out to be because we were in a hurry for our first appointment - mine =) As always, we were slightly late … haha nothing is new when it comes to doctor’s appointment.

Isn’t that true? Personally, I don’t care if it’s diamond, precious gemstones or even some artificial crystals, I’m more than happy if anyone would buy me whether for my birthday or Christmas. Precious stones best go with sterling silver or white gold. But with the current security issues, I would rather wear sterling silver. At least, they aren’t eye-catching.

I love to wear fashion jewelries because they are affordable and stylish. Besides, I can have as many of them as possible because I’m fashion conscious! Lately, I found an interesting site for fashion jewelry. They have one of the best collections of jewelries for both adults and children. Their collection ranges from anklets to toe rings. For one, I fell head-over-heels in love with their collection of designer inspired replica rings and earrings. They come in an assortment of colors, stones and designs.

I’m signing up for their email newsletter so that I will enjoy a 20% off coupon entitlement for any purchase on their online store.

Some of my favorites:

Aren’t they just gorgeous?! I’m planning to buy all four plus some earrings. That would easily sum up to $100. Guess what? For purchases over $75, I’ll receive a free sterling silver pendant from them! Besides, it’s risk free shopping with 30-day money back guarantee.

From Geiranger, we went to Dalsnibba. It’s located up in the mountains just above Geiranger town. Long drive but very scenic.

We enjoyed, loved and remembered every single minute of it.

Crazy skiers walking up the mountains in Dalsnibba for a downhill ski

Can you spot the skiers? Believe me … it was very steep and high up … and they actually walked up!

We were there in June 2008. The trip was intended to show Mom and Bro our Scandinavian neighbors. Of course, on the way, we stopped by Stockholm and Sandviken (ummmm actually on the way back we went to Sandviken). Urrrggghhh … I really and truly hate the traffic to Oslo. There was a road construction then. Therefore, the speed limit was between 60-80 kph and what added to our frustration was the amount of speed traps (SPEED CAMERA). Thank goodness our Tom Tom would alert us whenever we’re approaching one but it’s so darn regular, it became a nuisance rather than helping us. CB!

Anyway, we didn’t drive all the way to Geiranger because it was impossible with us making so many stops for pictures taking and to let mom, bro and Nico REST! Both hubby and I can be fanatics! We can drive full day but with Nico around, that is impossible. We don’t want to scare him like our last trip to north Norway. Besides, mom cannot take it … age factor and the back seat … Our first stop was Lillehammer. Will post up pix of Lillehammer another day.

I am posting up some very few pix of Geirangerfjord (a UNESCO’s World Heritage) upon Rafidah’s request. Come to think of it, we have been to many UNESCO’s WH. Rafidah, Trollstigen on another day. Too many pix … sampai my mata sakit!

The FAMILY!

We rented a motorboat and went out to the fjord to watch the falls on our own. It’s very interesting because each time a big vessel sailed by … it created strong current that will send our small boat to the side. The boat renter actually warned us against going too near the cliff because of possible falling rocks. Someone was killed by falling rocks because of going too near the cliff.

Today I went out as usual to attend to some gardening work. Yeah, I know, you must think what a boring life! Or might think I am nuts to work on the yard daily. Well, that’s because I am getting very slow day by day due to my growing stomach … I can’t really squat not kneel on the ground for too long to trim the grass nor pick up the weeds. So, I am taking it slow by spreading over days to have them done.

It’s quite frustrating in a way because the moment I am done with one part … the previous trimmed grass have grown again! Yeah WTtoottoot! Anyway, it’s good because I get to refresh my stuffy head and my boy gets to play with his bike and lawn mower. He helps me sometimes to carry my things around. So, he’s quite a helper. I hope he will be a good helper when the little baby comes.

After some time spent in the yard, we went for a walk to the playground. That’s where I met the kids, my little friends. There were 3 big bullies from the outside neighborhood who snatched Lassi’s sword and played with Jonas’ water gun without permission. They were shouting all the time. So I went up to them to get them to SHUT UP and shooed them away! WTtoottoot. They should go and shout or scream at their own place. Not ours! Sometimes, the kids complained about things getting lost … I bet it’s those STRANGERS who took them. After they were gone, the kids took out color chalks and began drawing on the road. Haha … honestly, I don’t think I can allow my boy to do that in front of our house. But it’s surely nice to see how creative and imaginative the little kids are.

I talked to the kids about those shouting big bullies and told them not to talk to them unnecessarily because they are capable of doing just anything to hurt them, including stealing their things. They nodded with agreement. I was so surprised when all of them told me that their shouting is so bad because it can wake those little babies up from their naps. You see, we have a lot of NEW babies in our community lately. Most babies are left to sleep in the terrace for 3-4 hours a day. FRESH AIR! So if they shout and scream, the chances of waking the babies up is very high! I am going to mug them tomorrow and if they do the same again, I am gonna carry them by their collars and bring them back to their parents. SO NAUGHTY KIDS … BEWARE!

My boy isn’t in the pix because he is too shy to go sit next to them … *haaaaiiihhhhh*

Jul 09

… if the weather permits of course … I am gonna take pix of the neighborhood kids. They are so cute, when they aren’t doing naughty stuff … hehe

Took this today! So cute hanging from that carpet hanging thingy!

Gonna spend another day outside tending to the yard.

CC … thanks for dropping by … really … truly … appreciate yours reading my blog =) By the way, how’s the new D80 doing? I heard it’s one of the best models in the Nikon range.

Can I consider you as my loyal fan =P
