Tallinn …

I’ll be away for a while … though Tallinn is just a day trip to show my bro and mom around. A friend joins us for this exciting trip to this medieval town. Very different from Finland and other parts of Scandinavia. More like eastern European kinda taste.

Transitioning?

He’s watching cartoon almost the whole day every day. Now he is watching “Thomas and friends” in Norwegian language. He used to like toddlers’ programs on Disney Playhouse channel. Ever since he gained control of the remote control, he seems to enjoy Cartoon Network more. But I don’t like those kiddy programs on CN because they are quite violent - meant for older kids. I can hear him say “Oooooo - haaaaa” and laugh at scenes where the cartoon characters are beating each other violently … *sigh*

We went to Seurasaari on Labor Day. It was a warm and beautiful day. Lots of families and groups of youngsters were picnicking there. A peaceful walk around the historical island had somehow turned to a nightmare with throngs of people spoiling the peace!
