Worst dental experience …

Today, after waiting for a bloody SIX months, I finally got my appointment to have one tooth fixed. Since the place I am living has a small community, I have to travel to another town or city, however these finns call them, to have it fixed because they do not have bigger equipments to cater for cases like mine. Well, just to get one tooth filled and cavities removed (which wasn’t done today - !@#$%^), I gotta drive 20km and pay 22euros per consultation! :S

Malaysia is making seat belt a mandatory practice for back seat passengers

This new mandatory new rule will kick in beginning June 2008! Boy, was I glad when I read about the news a couple of weeks ago. First of all, my hubby will be very happy because he always thought we, Malaysians, always travel dangerously.

My lucky cousins

Just a couple of months ago I was back in Malaysia visiting my family, whom I very much miss. At the same time, also to celebrate Chinese New Year, which I haven’t been celebrating for a few years now. When I was young, I am very excited about Chinese New Year because it means new clothes, shoes and lots of “hong bao” - red packet filled with money - which has an auspicious meaning for the unmarried ones.

I friggin …

… hate my place. I hate how the children would trespass from yard to yard. Squash just about anything they see and mess up the whole neighborhood with broken pieces of plastics. Bicycling like their grandfather owns the road. Bringing trash to our yards … I believe their parents are friggin morons who do not know how to teach their children mannerisms and civics.

He can now hide in my study room and watch his favorite channels. Leaving his dad in the living room with all the peace he hungers for!
