Shopping list
Nov 10th, 2007 by daphne

Do you make a shopping list of all the groceries you need before hitting off to the supermarket? Well, I do. I always remember to note down the lists of things and food I wanna stack up my kitchen cabinets with and to stock up my pathetically empty refrigerator. I hate emptiness. It makes me feel so uneasy. I always like to have ample, in case I ran out of them, I have backups.
Making a shopping list of all the things you need is a good practice. At least, for sure you won’t come back missing the mascarpone cheese you need for baking your favorite tiramisu or the dish washing liquid. Hence saving an additional trip to the supermarket. Do you normally write it down on a piece of paper, the conventional way? Or are you a sassy techie who uses the spreadsheet? I am old fashion. I use paper and pen. But my hubby just told me that it’s much easier to use the spreadsheet because it list out the things you have bought for each shopping trip. Simultaneously you can keep track of your outgoing cash through the computation. I think it’s an excellent idea. Have been doing that since the last couple of months. I am not going to go into details on how I did mine. I am sure if you know how to use Excel or any other spreadsheet softwares, you should know how to go about doing it. Besides, everyone of us have our distinct preferences.
